Times are different; Nigeria cannot grossly violate the treaties she signed to uphold on the 21st century without punitive actions by the UN Security Council, hence if it remains unabated millions of lives could be lost. Self-determination is a universal law, which Nigeria is a signatory to, she has not only practically thwarted those treaties but violated the laws therein with impunity.

Nigeria is not working as a country; the effect of the quota system of governance across the country is unspeakable; Biafrans suffer hardship, death, rape and abuse of their human right. The Nigerian government has no regard for the rule of local and international laws including that of the UN.
It's on record at the United Nations Information Center (UNIC) that Nigeria comprises of different nations'- predominantly Muslim Arewa, Oduduwa who are in partly Christians and partly Muslims, and Judeo-Christian Biafrans. These three nations have nothing in common that brings them together as a people including language, food, culture and common heritage.

Since the amalgamation of Nigeria by Fredrick Lugard on 1st January 1914, the ruins that came out of it caused thousands of civil unrest, protests and agitation for separate nations. It was these that led to the Nigeria/Biafra Civil war that lasted for almost three years. On that war, over three million civilian Biafrans including women and children lost their lives, till date more have been killed by Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen and the Nigerian security Forces who shot to kill peaceful protesters and agitators with live bullets.Fredric Lugard, on a document, stated that 'After 100 Years, All Nations amalgamated to Form Nigeria have the right To go their Separate ways under Self-determination'. Nigeria as a country rightly expired in 2014. Unarmed Biafrans agitating on the street have on several counts been killed for demanding to go their separate way and live as a people in other to decide their future, manage their economic welfare and exercise their freedom of existence by virtue of self-determination stated under the UN Charter, Chapter 1, Article 1

The Purposes of the United Nations are:
(1) To maintain international peace and security, and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace, and to bring about by peaceful means, and in conformity with the principles of justice and international law, adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations which might lead to a breach of the peace;

(2) To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace;
(3) To achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character, and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion; and
(4) To be a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations in the attainment of these common ends.

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) applied self-determination in their course of agitation for a separate nation by peaceful protests with placards and posters, but the combined Armed Forces of Nigeria shot and killed peaceful, and law-abiding Biafrans in their numbers and their lifeless bodies were taken away and dumped in pits, some were dumped in the forest while others were buried in shallow graves denying the deceased of their proper burial rites. The Nigerian government and her armed forces invaded the home of the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to kill him, in the process 28 unarmed youths died, his house and properties were also shot at and destroyed.

It's paramount to remind you that Nigeria is infamous with persistent and habitual disobedience of various court orders. She has no regards for the rule of law as evidenced by numerous instances where she has declined to obey judicial pronouncements. The leader of Shi'ite Muslim community, Alhaji Shiek El Zakzaky is still in detention for about one thousand days and still counting despite numerous competent courts ordered for his release.

The African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights, ACHR, had through its Decision on Seizure and Provisional Measures, on March 8, 2018, asked the federal government of Nigeria to rescind its decision branding IPOB and its members as terrorists as well as de-proscription of IPOB. Without any rigorous oversight, the Buhari regime has treated the pronouncement of ARCHR with the same disdain she treats ordinary court judgments in Nigeria According to article 3 and 4 of UN declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples, "Indigenous peoples have the right to self-determination. By virtue of the right, they are entitled to freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development". Article 4 Indigenous peoples, in exercising their right to self-determination, have the right to autonomy or self-government in matters relating to their internal and local affairs, as well as ways and means for financing their autonomous functions.

Indigenous People Of Biafra members exercising this right of freedom of assembly by peaceful protest in Nigeria are being killed by the Nigerian Military. Biafrans are being killed, arrested and detained in several police stations across Biafra land by the evil Nigerian government that is currently run by the Impostor, Jubril Aminu Al'Sudani for exercising their fundamental rights to protests.

An impostor is now running Nigeria government from Sudan whom the northern cabal contracted when president Muhammadu Buhari died. They are currently committing the crime of impersonation. Late Muhammad Buhari, the supposed Nigerian president, died in London hospital on the 17th of February 2017. The core northern cabal in the Islamic Nigerian government brought his look alike from Sudan to impersonate him as the president. Under his watch Biafrans are being tortured and killed by trigger-happy Military personnel deployed to peaceful Biafra Land whereas Boko Haram is terrorizing the northeast and core northern states freely.

The reality on ground is that human right violation in Nigeria has escalated. If the UN Security Council deliberately turns deaf ears and fails to act quickly, it would inevitably cause a full-blown deadly war in no distant time, which will affect all the countries in the world. The UN Security Council should hasten the approval of Biafra referendum, see to its supervision and ensure the exit of a Biafran State from Nigeria.

Nigeria Logo vs Biafra Logo

What are we waiting for? Isn’t it very obvious even to the daftest that the contraption called Nigeria is a failed state by every definition and every parameter? Is this what a country of 186 million people supposed to be? Should we continue to sustain a country that is unsustainable?
