THERESA May is now in Brussels, where she is appealing to Donald Tusk and the other 27 EU members to extend Article 50 as late as June 30. But as talks get underway, lorry drivers are threatening to shut down British motorways if Brexit is delayed. - Lorry drivers have threatened to cause blockades on major UK motorways, placing a stranglehold on traffic in the event Theresa May extends Article 50.
A group named Brexit Direct Action have proposed the protests.According to their Facebook page, they “demand a clean exit from the EU” without the government’s Withdrawal Agreement. - The planned talks would stall traffic for miles, and Brexit Direct Action is likely hoping to use the furore to further their own cause. They wrote: “Brexiteers all over the country are planning to bring this country to its knees by blocking the main arterial routes - M1, M6 M25, M62, A1, A55, M5, M4, M42, M55, M61, A66 etc. - If you live close to one of these major motorways and are willing to take part then prepare to move at short notice. - Don’t worry about the legal side of things, the national organiser is sorting it out. - According to the group, they are hoping to stage these protests on or before March 29.
In order to make any significant impact however, Brexit Direct Action will need to block hundreds or even thousands of cars from travelling via the motorway.
This is the dimension the BREXIT is taking and as we speak this threats were issued out by this truck affiliated protesters and no military or police is rolling out tanks or reading out the riot act for them or probably preparing to engage the armless protesters in a 'Show of Force'.
If it were BIAFRANS, hell would have been let loose by not only their enemies but also people whom they call leaders from same blood. Onitsha bridge blockade is a case study. 9 (nine) people lost their lives. - Now this is the kind of civilization Britain wants for it's people but would not let others have theirs. No!!!, We're ready to fight back this time and God-willing we will WIN.
