The Kwankwaso You Don’t Know

It’s my duty to constantly remind us where we are coming from in order to appreciate where we are going. These politicians are just playing chess with our intelligence and emotions.

The Kwankwaso we are all celebrating today for dumping APC for PDP who equally have presidential ambition is even WORSE than Buhari, I can authoritatively reveal.

In June 2014, when a large number of Fulani numbering 486 and aged between 16 and 24 were intercepted by the military in Asa, Abia State, on the Enugu - Port Harcourt express way at 3am in the morning. They were in a convoy of 35 buses and were coming down from the North. Two of the buses escaped leaving behind 33 buses. The buses passed through all the security check points in the north without being arrested until it reached the East. The occupants of the vehicle could neither identify their mission nor where they were going.

The Sultan of Sokoto was the first to shout that these were “innocent” Muslims and should be released but Jonathan ignored him; then the Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, went to Jonathan and warned him that if those guys were not released, “NONE OF THE IGBO in Kano will return alive.”

You see, our blood is only good in settling scores in Nigeria. What do I know self?

Fearful Jonathan released hundreds of them and held only few especially the one the military confirmed is one of the most wanted Boko Haram kingpins. The other 2 buses which escaped could not be traced till date.

Prior before then in 2013, Festus Odimegwu, a Chairman of the National Population Commission (NPC), raised alarm that none of the census ever conducted in Nigeria since amalgamation were accurate. But Kwankwaso went to Jonathan and asked him to fire Odimegwu immediately else none of the census conducted under him will be accepted, and Jonathan obeyed him.

It will also be recalled that in that leaked audio tape between Gov Shettima of Bornu and one Kunle (identified as governor of Ogun State), Governor Shettima revealed that Buhari was not their choice as to him Buhari was TOO SLOW to implement their agenda due to old age. He lamented that it was Tinubu that foisted Buhari on them, According to him, “Kwankwaso would have finished whatever we want in 6 months."

What are we waiting for? Isn’t it very obvious even to the daftest that the contraption called Nigeria is a failed state by every definition and every parameter? Is this what a country of 186 million people supposed to be? Should we continue to sustain a country that is unsustainable?

Many have been misled to believe that the defunct Republic of Biafra was another name for the Igbo ethnic group in Nigeria. This notion is totally untrue. The defunct Republic of Biafra was the name for the entire eastern region of Nigeria as at May 30, 1967, which comprised of 8 provinces namely
