Where Is Nnamdi Kanu? Africa Guardian Asked

Africa Guardian have add their own voice, asking Nigerian government, Where is Nnamdi Kanu, today marks it 313 days since Nigerian military invaded his family home, Kanu's family whereabouts still unknown.

Where Is Nnamdi Kanu, The Nigerian Separatist Group Leader

It's over ten months since the disappearance of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a Nigerian separatist group agitating for a sovereign state called Biafra.

Mr. Kanu's home was raided by soldiers on September 14, 2017, shortly after he was released on bail by the Abuja High Court, where he faces charges of treasonable crime.

The head of IPOB, whose home is in Umuahia Abia state, in southeastern Nigeria, is still devastated, the doors dangling, the cupboards emptied on the floors, the walls and the windows pitted by bullets, has not been heard from or seen anywhere in the public after the raid.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian army, which had previously denied the raid, later claimed

responsibility for the raid where 29 people were killed, and a former Nigerian minister of aviation - Fani-Kayode alledged that Mr Nnamdi Kanu is being held hostage in a Nigerian naval warship.

Helping fuel anger in the old Eastern region of the country, is Nnamdi Kanu's parents, whose whereabouts are unknown and who, according to an independent investigation report, were kidnapped during the raid.

However, despite the proscription as a terrorist group; the indigenous peoples of Biafra (IPOB) are still engaging in peaceful activities in some parts of the country, also demanding a referendum and to know where their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is.

As people are very concerned about the fate and well-being of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu and the parents who were abducted by the military, and how the separatist group is mistreated in Nigeria, questions remain: Why are the United Nations and African bodies silent about this impending doom in Nigeria?
